Transparent VAT Collection for EU & Non-EU Countries
At iFlight Europe, we aim to provide transparent pricing and a smooth international shopping experience for FPV customers worldwide.
Depending on your destination country, taxes and import charges are either collected directly during checkout or by local customs authorities and shipping carriers upon delivery.
European Union (EU) Orders
For shipments within the European Union:
- VAT is included in displayed product prices
- Applicable VAT is collected directly during checkout
- No additional import duties or customs charges apply within the EU single market
VAT rates may vary depending on your destination country and applicable local EU tax regulations.

- Austria: Prices include 20% Austrian VAT
Non-EU Countries (DAP)
For most countries outside the European Union, prices are displayed without VAT.
Import VAT, customs duties, and carrier handling fees are generally not included during checkout and may instead be collected upon arrival by the local customs authority or shipping carrier.
Customers are responsible for any applicable import charges in their destination country.
Shipping carriers may additionally charge customs clearance, brokerage, or handling fees depending on local import procedures.
United Kingdom (UK) – DDP
United Kingdom customers benefit from DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) processing.
What This Means
- UK VAT and applicable import charges are calculated and collected directly during checkout
- No additional customs charges are usually collected upon delivery
This provides a smoother and more transparent purchasing experience for UK customers.
Switzerland & Other Non-EU Countries
For countries such as Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Serbia, and other non-EU destinations:
- Product prices are displayed without VAT
- Import VAT, customs duties, and carrier handling fees may apply upon delivery
- Charges are determined by local customs authorities and shipping carriers

Customs Processing & Delays

We have no control over customs processing times, import procedures, or locally charged fees once a shipment arrives in the destination country.
Battery Imports & Customs
Orders containing lithium batteries may be subject to additional customs inspections, transport restrictions, or import limitations depending on destination country and local regulations.
Certain countries or carriers may restrict or refuse battery imports entirely.
Refused Customs Charges & Returned Orders
If import taxes, customs duties, or carrier fees are refused by the customer, resulting return shipping costs, customs charges, carrier handling fees, and related expenses may be deducted from the refund amount.
Refunds can only be processed once the returned shipment has arrived back at our warehouse.
