The iPower GM6208-150T Brushless Gimbal Motor Combo is engineered for medium-to-heavy camera stabilization systems that demand exceptional accuracy, smooth motion, and efficient performance.
Equipped with the AS5048A encoder, each brushless motor provides real-time position feedback for precise stabilization, improved control response, and significantly increased power efficiency — delivering up to 5× longer working time compared to non-encoder systems.

 

How Encoder Technology Works

Encoders are high-resolution magnetic sensors integrated into each brushless motor of the gimbal.
They continuously track the motor’s rotation and position, allowing the controller to correct movement instantly and keep your camera perfectly balanced and stable.

The 3-axis stabilization system combines:

  • Passive stabilization, which uses inertia to maintain balance on the Pan, Tilt, and Roll axes.
  • Active stabilization, which relies on advanced sensors (IMUs and encoders) to measure motion and counteract unwanted shifts through motor feedback control.
  • This hybrid approach delivers ultra-smooth, jitter-free footage with faster response and improved torque accuracy.
