About

Description

The DOGCOM 16000mAh 6S4P Li-Ion Battery is a high-capacity endurance pack designed for applications where maximum flight time, stable cruising performance, and efficient long-range power delivery are the priority.

Built with premium EVE INR21700-40P Li-Ion cells in a 6S4P configuration, this battery provides a massive energy reserve for endurance-focused UAV platforms, cinematic drones, mapping builds, inspection aircraft, and other efficient long-range applications.

This battery is intended for smooth, endurance-focused operation where efficiency and total energy capacity are more important than aggressive throttle response. Suitability depends on total aircraft weight, motor/propeller choice, payload, expected current draw, connector choice, cooling, and flying style.

Important: This is a Li-Ion endurance battery, not a high-discharge freestyle LiPo. It is not intended for racing, aggressive freestyle, repeated full-throttle punch-outs, or setups that exceed the practical limits of the battery, connector, wiring, or aircraft. For aggressive flying, use a high-discharge LiPo pack.

Key Benefits

Huge 16000mAh capacity for extended endurance and exploration flights

6S4P configuration for massive energy reserve and improved current sharing

Premium EVE INR21700-40P Li-Ion cells

Excellent energy density compared with typical high-discharge LiPo packs

Smooth and efficient power delivery for cruising, cinematic flying, mapping, inspection, and long-range exploration

Suitable for endurance-focused UAV platforms and large efficient long-range builds

XT60 or XT90 connector option depending on current requirements

JST-XHR balance lead included

Durable construction with temperature-resistant spacers and high-quality components

Approx. 1720g pack weight

Ideal for users who prioritize flight time and efficiency over aggressive throttle response

Actual flight time depends heavily on aircraft type, total weight, motors, propellers, wind, altitude, temperature, payload, flight speed, throttle behaviour, battery condition, and landing voltage.

Li-Ion Battery Behaviour

Li-Ion batteries behave differently from standard FPV LiPo batteries.

Compared with high-discharge LiPo packs, Li-Ion batteries usually offer higher energy density and longer cruising efficiency, but lower high-current capability and more voltage sag under load.

This battery is designed for smooth cruising, long-range exploration, cinematic flying, mapping, inspection, and endurance applications. It may feel softer than a LiPo during hard acceleration or high-throttle manoeuvres. This is normal for Li-Ion chemistry and does not automatically mean the battery is defective.

For best results, use smooth throttle control, efficient propellers, suitable motors, and an aircraft setup designed for endurance operation.

Betaflight and OSD Voltage Warning Note

Most Betaflight and FPV OSD low-voltage warnings are commonly configured around standard LiPo behaviour.

When using Li-Ion batteries, voltage warnings may need to be adjusted by an experienced user. Li-Ion packs have a different voltage curve than LiPo packs and can show more voltage sag under load, especially at high current, in cold weather, or near the end of the flight.

Always monitor voltage per cell, consumed mAh, voltage sag under load, and resting voltage after landing. Do not rely only on default LiPo warning settings when flying Li-Ion packs.

Connector Guidance

XT60 option: recommended for lower-current endurance setups and practical continuous current up to around 60A, depending on cooling, cable condition, solder quality, and aircraft setup.

XT90 option: recommended for higher-current setups above the normal XT60 range, larger aircraft, heavier payloads, or applications where additional connector headroom is preferred.

Do not choose a connector based only on cell count or capacity. The correct connector depends on expected current draw, ESC setup, motor/propeller combination, payload, cooling, and safety margin.

Cell Temperature Guidance

Recommended charging ambient temperature: 0°C to 45°C

Typical discharging ambient temperature: –20°C to 60°C

Avoid charging when the battery is below 0°C.

Avoid charging or using the battery when it is very hot, swollen, damaged, or behaving abnormally.

Cold Li-Ion cells can show stronger voltage sag and reduced usable capacity. High temperatures can accelerate ageing and may create unsafe conditions.

Charging Guidelines

Always use a Li-Ion compatible balance charger.

Charge mode: Li-Ion / lithium-ion balance charge

Maximum charge voltage: 4.20V per cell / 25.2V total for 6S

Recommended charge rate for normal use and long battery life: 1C or lower, up to 16A for this 16000mAh pack

EVE standard charge reference for 4000mAh cells: 2A per cell

EVE fast charge reference for 4000mAh cells: 6A per cell

Because this is a 4P pack, the theoretical cell-based charge-current reference is 8A standard or up to 24A fast charge, depending on pack manufacturer approval.

For best lifespan and safety, we recommend charging at 16A or lower unless the battery label or pack manufacturer explicitly allows a higher current.

Do not exceed the charge current specified by the battery label or manufacturer.

Do not charge above 4.20V per cell.

Do not charge unattended.

Do not charge near flammable materials.

Do not charge below 0°C.

Do not charge a damaged, swollen, overheated, crashed, over-discharged, shorted, wet, or suspicious battery.

Stop charging immediately if the battery becomes hot, swollen, smells unusual, shows imbalance, or behaves abnormally.

Discharge and Landing Guidelines

This battery is designed for efficient long-range cruising, not extreme current draw.

Recommended end-flight voltage: approx. 2.9–3.1V per cell resting voltage

The 2.5V per cell value is the absolute cell discharge cut-off specification, not a normal FPV landing target.

Voltage under load during flight can be lower than resting voltage after landing.

Avoid repeatedly discharging the pack to very low voltage, as this can reduce cycle life and increase the risk of cell imbalance or damage.

If voltage sag is excessive, land safely and check whether the battery is suitable for the aircraft, payload, propeller choice, connector, and flying style.

Storage Guidelines

Recommended storage voltage: 3.7–3.85V per cell

Do not store fully charged for long periods.

Do not store empty or deeply discharged.

Disconnect the battery from the aircraft, charger, or any device after use.

Store in a cool, dry place, ideally between 15°C and 25°C.

Avoid high heat, direct sunlight, freezing temperatures, moisture, and physical damage.

Store in a fire-resistant battery bag, LiPo-safe storage bag, or suitable fire-resistant container.

Check the battery periodically during long-term storage.

If swelling, leakage, abnormal smell, corrosion, physical damage, or abnormal cell imbalance is detected, stop using the battery immediately and dispose of it safely according to local regulations.
