About

Description

The DOGCOM 5200mAh 6S 120C LiPo Battery is a high-discharge 6S pack for larger FPV drones, cinelifters, cinematic platforms and professional UAV builds that need strong, stable power delivery.

With 5200mAh capacity, 22.2V nominal voltage, 115.44Wh of energy and a manufacturer-rated 120C continuous discharge, it is built for demanding setups where consistent throttle response and low voltage sag matter. At approx. 750g, it balances energy reserve against take-off weight.

Before use, check that your frame, motors, ESC, connector, wiring, propellers, payload and total take-off weight are suitable for a 6S 5200mAh battery of this size.

Key Benefits

  • 5200mAh / 115.44Wh energy for larger 6S aircraft
  • Manufacturer-rated 120C continuous and 240C burst discharge
  • Strong throttle response and stable power output under load
  • Low internal resistance design for efficient current delivery
  • Approx. 750g, a good balance of capacity and weight
  • Designed for larger FPV drones, cinelifters, cinematic platforms and professional UAV setups
  • XT60 or XT90 discharge connector, depending on selected version
  • JST-XHR balance connector

Technical Specifications

Brand: DOGCOM
Battery type: LiPo (lithium polymer)
Capacity: 5200mAh / 5.2Ah
Configuration: 6S1P (6 cells)
Nominal voltage: 22.2V (3.7V per cell)
Maximum charge voltage: 4.20V per cell / 25.2V per pack
Energy: 115.44Wh
Continuous discharge: 120C (manufacturer rating)
Burst discharge: 240C (manufacturer rating)
Discharge connector: XT60 or XT90, depending on selected version
Balance connector: JST-XHR
Dimensions: 158 × 48 × 47mm (L × W × T)
Weight: approx. 750g
Recommended storage voltage: 3.80–3.85V per cell
Recommended landing voltage: approx. 3.5–3.7V per cell (resting)

Note on current ratings: C-ratings are manufacturer ratings. Real usable current is limited by battery temperature, voltage sag, connector type, wire gauge, solder joints, ESC, motors, airflow, aircraft setup and flight duration. For high-current setups, the XT90 version offers more current headroom than XT60.

Choosing the Right Pack Size

Use this battery only on aircraft designed for its size and weight. A pack of this size is generally not suitable for small or lightweight FPV drones, where the extra weight would reduce performance, efficiency and handling.

If your aircraft needs more energy reserve and can carry approx. 125g more, the DOGCOM 6S 6000mAh 120C Battery is the larger option.

Voltage Warnings and Landing

  • Set Betaflight / OSD voltage warnings with a safety margin. Many pilots use around 3.5V per cell under load.
  • Land at approx. 3.5–3.7V per cell resting voltage, depending on aircraft load, payload, flying style and safety margin.
  • Voltage under load is lower than resting voltage after landing.
  • Monitor voltage per cell and consumed mAh together, and leave enough reserve for a safe landing.
  • Avoid repeatedly discharging below 3.5V per cell resting voltage. Deep discharge can permanently damage LiPo cells and cause swelling, imbalance or reduced performance.
  • If voltage sag is excessive or the battery comes back unusually hot, reduce the load and check whether the battery suits your aircraft, propellers, ESC, wiring and flying style.

Charging Guidelines

  • Always use a LiPo-compatible balance charger in LiPo balance charge mode.
  • Maximum charge voltage: 4.20V per cell / 25.2V for 6S. Never charge above this.
  • Recommended charge rate for longer battery life: 1C or lower (5.2A for this pack).
  • Only charge above 1C if the battery label or manufacturer explicitly allows it and your charger, power supply, cables and safety setup are suitable.
  • Never charge unattended or near flammable materials.
  • Do not charge a damaged, swollen, crashed, over-discharged, shorted or wet battery, or a battery that is very cold or very hot.
  • Stop charging immediately if the battery becomes hot, swells, smells unusual, shows imbalance or behaves abnormally.

Storage Guidelines

  • Store at 3.80–3.85V per cell. After flying, bring the battery back to storage voltage if it will not be used again soon.
  • Do not store fully charged or deeply discharged for long periods.
  • Disconnect the battery from the aircraft, charger or any other device after use.
  • Store in a cool, dry place, ideally between 15°C and 25°C, away from heat, direct sunlight, frost, moisture and physical damage.
  • Use a fire-resistant LiPo bag or a suitable fire-resistant container.
  • Check the battery periodically. If you notice swelling, leakage, unusual smell, corrosion, damage or abnormal cell imbalance, stop using it and dispose of it according to local regulations.

Package Includes

  • 1× DOGCOM 5200mAh 6S 120C LiPo Battery with XT60 or XT90 connector, depending on selected version

Safety Disclaimer

Lithium polymer batteries must be handled with care. Improper charging, over-charging, over-discharging, short-circuiting, overheating, physical damage, puncturing, disassembling or incorrect use can cause fire, explosion, injury or property damage.

Always follow the charger instructions, the battery label and the product specifications. Select a battery that suits your aircraft, and operate, charge, store and transport it within safe voltage, current and temperature limits.

Do not use this battery if it has been crashed, punctured, swollen, overheated, over-discharged, shorted, exposed to water or otherwise damaged.
