The GoPro Mission TPU FPV Protection Case is designed for FPV pilots who want a practical, modular and crash-oriented camera protection solution for drone use. It is compatible with GoPro Mission 1 and GoPro Mission 1 Pro and uses the standard GoPro-style mounting system commonly found on FPV drones, including many iFlight BNF models.

The case combines a durable TPU outer shell, replaceable front lens-protection inserts and a stiff CF-reinforced rear door. The TPU body is printed with a special internal infill structure to help absorb impact energy, while the rigid rear plate helps protect the rear GoPro screen from battery strikes or rear-side impacts during crashes.

Unlike traditional tight TPU sleeves, the camera does not need to be forced in and out of the case. The GoPro is inserted from the rear and secured with a side-hinged closing mechanism, making camera access, setup changes and drone swaps faster and more convenient.

The rear door also allows quick access to the GoPro rear display. Important camera settings can be checked or changed directly on the camera without removing it from the case or relying on the app. This is especially useful during FPV sessions when settings need to be adjusted quickly between flights.

The TPU construction helps reduce vibration transfer from the drone to the camera compared to very rigid mounting solutions. This can help lower vibration stress on the GoPro and support cleaner footage, depending on the drone setup, propeller condition, tuning and mounting configuration.

Each set includes two interchangeable front inserts: a standard lens-protection insert and a sunhood-style insert. The customer can choose which version to install depending on preference and use case. Damaged inserts can also be replaced separately, helping to keep the system serviceable after hard FPV use.

Compatibility & Fitment Note

GoPro-style mounts on FPV drones can have slightly different tolerances depending on the drone, mount type and manufacturing method. CNC-machined aluminium mounts, such as those used on some 2RAW models, are often tighter. Injection-molded plastic mounts can feel slightly wider, while TPU-printed mounts may vary depending on material, print settings and wear.

The case was designed for broad compatibility, but the fit may feel slightly tighter or looser depending on the drone-side bottom mount. This is usually caused by mount tolerances and does not necessarily indicate a problem with the case. Always check that the case is securely mounted before flight.

Mounting Recommendation

For FPV drone use, we do not recommend using the standard GoPro metal folding fingers as the main mounting interface. These metal mounts are mainly intended for handheld accessories such as selfie sticks, tripods and general action-camera mounts.

On FPV drones, a very rigid metal interface can transfer vibration to the camera and may break under impact instead of absorbing energy. For FPV flying, we recommend using a suitable FPV-oriented GoPro-style mount and checking the complete mounting setup before every flight.

This case is not waterproof, not dustproof and not intended for diving, underwater use or wet environments. It is designed as an FPV drone protection case for vibration, impact and quick camera handling.

No case can guarantee full camera protection in every crash. The modular design helps absorb impact energy and allows damaged protection parts to be replaced more easily.
